עׇזְרֵנִי אֵל חַי לְהַכְנִיעַ אֶת יֵצֶר הַמְפַתֶּה הַמֵּרִיעַ. מִבִּלְתְּךָ אֵין מוֹשִיעַ לְהוֹשִׁיעֵנִי׃

'ozreni ʾel ḥay lĕhakhnia' ʾeth yeṣer hamĕfatteh hammeria'. mibbiltĕkha ʾen moshia' lĕhoshi'eni

Help me, Living God, to subdue the tempting inclination that stirs up evil; besides You there is no savior to save me.

דַּלְתֵי תְשׁוּבָה חַי פְּתַח לִי. כִּי שַׁבְתִּי מֵחֶטְאִי וּמַעֲלִי. אָנָּא צוּרִי שְׁמַע קוֹלִי מַהֵר עֲנֵנִי׃

dalthe thĕshuva ḥay pĕthaḥ li. ki shavti meḥeṭʾi uma'ăli. ʾannaʾ ṣuri shĕma' qoli maher 'ăneni

Living One, open for me the gates of repentance, for I have turned back from my sin and my trespass. Please, my Rock, hear my voice — answer me swiftly.

אוֹדֶה עֲלֵי פְשָׁעַי אַתָּה תִשָּׂא עֲוֹנִי׃

ʾodheh 'ăle fĕsha'ay ʾatta thissaʾ 'ăwoni

I will confess my transgressions; You will bear my iniquity.

סוֹד יְמִינְךָ הַפְּשׁוּטָה לְקַבֵּל אֶת נֶפֶשׁ הַמִּתְחָרְטָה. וְלֹא תוֹסִיף תֶּחֱטָא אֵלֶיךָ קוֹנִי. הַרְחֶק נָא מֵעָלֶיהָ חֶבְרַת כַּת הַצְּפוֹנִי׃

sodh yĕminĕkha happĕshuṭa lĕqabbel ʾeth nefesh hammithḥarĕṭa. wĕloʾ thosif teḥĕṭaʾ ʾelekha qoni. harḥeq naʾ me'aleha ḥevrath kath haṣṣĕfoni

The secret of Your outstretched right hand is to receive the soul that repents, so that it sin against You, its Maker, no more. Please keep far from it the company of the northern band.
